Squeaking in just under the wire here on Day 4:
Firstly, my sisters and I with my stepmom in October 2009 at my sister, Amy's, baby shower. Amy is the one in black, and my sister Nicki, is the one in light blue.
This is the three of us at Christmas 2001. In case you can't tell, Nicki is quite a bit younger than Amy and I, eleven years younger to be precise.

This is a picture of Nicki and I, probably in 1992, outside my dad's home. I changed a lot of diapers with her. :) It is strange to think of this child whom I helped raise, whom I shared a room for years, growing up, but it happened. She is an adult now, getting her life on track and taking care of business. I am so proud of her.

This is my brother, Terrance, who is also eleven years younger than I am. He's a good kid, and struggling with becoming an adult while dealing with Asperger's Syndrome (high-functioning autism). He is quite the computer wiz, but pretty awkward in many other areas. He did a wonderful job as usher and groomsman in my wedding, though. :)

This is my sister, Amy, and I. To be precise, we are step-sisters, but that has never been more than a word. We are three months apart in age, and were friends with some of the same people in school before becoming family. I can never thank God enough for bringing her into my life, she is my best friend ever, aside from my husband, and we are linked by so much more than the marriage certificate bearing our parents' names.
When speaking of Amy, I cannot leave out her husband Nick, my brother-in-law. Such an awesome guy, kind, funny, a great father and wonderful brother, who deals with our family dynamics very well. Maybe it's because he likes beer. :)
And last but not least, my sister-in-law, Chrissy, and her husband, Rick. Chrissy is half of the duo who introduced Ben and I, and she has a wonderful husband in Rick. The pair of them have been wonderful to me, and were so very supportive when Ben was in the hospital.
